Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026
Who is responsible
Dorothy Mae is responsible for the personal data collected on this website. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Email address, when you ask for the free gift or sign up for our letters.
- Order details (name, email, product, country) that our checkout partner Whop shares with us when you buy.
- Basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) that our web server records automatically for security.
We never receive or store your card details: payments are handled by Whop.
Why we use it
- To deliver the books and the free gift you asked for.
- To answer your messages and handle order issues.
- To send you occasional emails from Dorothy, only if you agreed. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To keep the website secure.
Legal bases (EU/UK): performance of a contract (orders), your consent (emails), and our legitimate interest (security).
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run the shop: Whop (checkout), MailerLite (our email provider) and our hosting provider (Cloudflare). Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, under their own security and privacy commitments and safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell or rent your personal data.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. After a purchase, we store a small note in your browser's local storage so your downloads show on the confirmation page. It is not used for tracking. If we add any in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Do Not Track
Because we do not track visitors across websites, we don't need to respond differently to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
How long we keep it
Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Order records: as long as required by tax and accounting law. Server logs: up to 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example California, the European Union or Israel), you may have additional rights, and you can also contact your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
